Bee My Valentine Bundle

Bee Mine

For our January Wild Violets Team meeting, I challenged them to make a card with a heart theme for our Team Zoom Event.

If you are struggling with card ideas, don’t bee afraid to CASE (Copy And Share Everything). I had that cute Bee Mine Suite Collection (Be My Valentine Stamp Set, Bee Builder Punch, Be Mine 12”x12” DSP, Sweet Sorbet 1/4” Bordered Ribbon, and the Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers) and needed to figure out what I wanted to do with it… so off to Instagram I went!

I fell in love with a card using Bee My Valentine stamp set from Stampin’ Through The Catalog paired with the Cheerful Daisy Dies. Their card is so stinkin’ ADORABLE!! While the card was done with Crumb Cake, I wanted a pink bee!

I also didn’t have the same paper, so changed all the colors and background paper (& added heart embellishments of course)! I started with an A2 card (4-1/4”x5-1/2” and cut a piece of the Bee Mine DSP to glue to the front. Then used the next to largest of the Scalloped Contours Dies and cut out a layer of Petal Pink CS. My Bee was stamped on Basic White CS, using stamped off Petal Pink ink. I literally copied everything of their card except the color, because there was not a thing I didn’t love! It’s ok to CASE and then celebrate how cute it turns out!! What’s not to love about a great design!

I used my Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo Blends to color the daisy centers and give my bee sweet cheeks, then used Pool Party Blends to color the wings and my gingham ribbon. It turned out so adorable!!

What are you making for Valentine’s? #wildvioletsart #stampinthroughthecatalog #beemyvalentine #beeminedsp #cheerfuldaisiesdies #pinkbees #stampinupofficial #stampinupdemo
