I’ll always be by your side
My sweetest fur babies have so much soul in their eyes and I love how the pictures just popped their personality! The funniest thing is the adorable cut out kittens are fabulous representatives of who they are. Sammy (the gray tabby) is the lover. He wants to snuggle (on his own terms, mind you). Our Emmie is the playful one, yowling away when she catches and disembowels her favorite stuffed mouse!
For this layout, I started with a 12”x12” Soft Sea Foam CS base. I then stamped the adorable wee fishy all over the background using the fish stamp from the kit in Soft Sea Foam ink.
I then had some leftover retired 3/4” herringbone white ribbon to stamp the adorable kitty paw print stamp from the kit, in Old Olive ink, and adhered it to the left side along with a retired Old Olive Twill ribbon and retired Sahara Sand twill ribbon on each side.
Each layout depends on the size of your photos. My photos came from Costco and they came by 4”x6” and left no room to cut down, so I layered them with a piece 4-1/4”x6-1/4” Basic White CS, then added a scrap of retired gold foil and pieces of the cards and envelopes (see video for my how-to).
Throughout the layout I added elements from the kit and scrap pieces I had in gold foil. I also cut out hearts from the Bee Builder Punch in gold foil and the envelope paper.
I added the sentiment from the kit in Calypso Coral ink on the kit label and a few tags I had laying about in Petal Pink, Basic White and Old Olive CS. The whole layout came together in 20 minutes and turned out so very cute! I have the other half to do with my pups (one in doggy heaven) that will help tell a story of our fur loving home.
