Extraordinary Flora Bundle and Washi Tape Cards
HI
What a joy it’s been to create with the stunning new Extraordinary Flora Bundle, Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, and the versatile Party Dies Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2025–2026 Annual Catalog! These vibrant, hand-painted florals and coordinating dies made their way into very special projects featured in both my last week Scrapbooking & Scripture Friday Facebook Live and this week’s Marvelous Monday Facebook Live cardmaking session.
The combo of the Party Dies Bundle, the Extraordinary Flora Bundle and the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape makes for absolutely stunning results! The pink and purple flowers with various colors of greens and yellows make for so many options! Whether you place the washi tape on window sheets for a soft vellum look or white cardstock for a brighter result, you will enjoy the final product! Adding the Party Banner Dies and Party Alphabet Dies make for amazing results for cards, banners or scrapbook layouts! So fun and beautiful!
For my Marvelous Monday FB Live video, I transitioned from scrapbook mode to cardmaking and had a blast showcasing how effortlessly the same supplies can be used to create bright and cheerful handmade cards. I designed several clean and simple Basic White A2 cards using the Party Alphabet Dies to cut a bold “HI” right into the 4-1/8”x5-3/8” Basic White card front, backed with florals from the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, and finished with heartfelt stamped sentiments from Tags of Thanks stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink. I then added Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to the card front and the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to my envelope for a completed look.
By making the first card, I had the die cut “HI” ready for a new card. I had a bunch of the Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes in the smaller size, and decided the little card and envelope would fit everything left over from the first card.
In my video from Friday, I showed that just one section of the Washi Tape on Basic White cardstock makes both cards. I used 1/2 for the back of the “HI” on the first card, and the rest of the Washi florals die cut out, made the decor on both cards. I then used 1/2 (lengthwise) of the next layer of Washi Tape on both my envelopes. By making one card, I got two cards from my simple efforts!
From “You’re the best” to “You made my whole day,” these cards burst with color and meaning.
For the extraordinary couple
This sweet wedding or shower card is so cheerful and lovely! Again, using the same components as my last weeks scrapbook layout, I created a beautiful card by CASE’ing the 2025-26 Annual Catalog, pg. 84. My card base was an A2 card in Coastal Cabana cardstock. I stamped tone on tone in Coastal Cabana ink using the sweet stamp from Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set. I then die cut out a 3” wide Basic White cardstock banner using the Party Banner Dies.
I then stamped the banner with stamped off Smokey Slate ink with the wood grain stamp and wrapped the Faux Velvet Ribbon in Fresh Freesia and tied a bow. I popped up the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals, and then added die cut Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape images to make a pleasing bouquet.
My sentiment was stamped in Coastal Cabana ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and popped up on the banner. My embellishment are from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty Ink Pink Gems (in gold). I then added the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to my envelope flap, and the portion cut off, I added to my envelope front. So fun and gorgeous!
