Extraordinary Flora Bundle & Washi Tape Scrapbooking

DATE NIGHT

This week during my Scrapbooking & Scripture Friday Facebook Live, I shared a very personal and meaningful 12x12 scrapbook spread titled “Date Night.” This two-page layout is a celebration of God’s faithfulness through a long and challenging season of waiting, healing, and renewal.

I created it using the absolutely stunning Extraordinary Flora Bundle, Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape, and the playful Party Dies Bundle from the brand-new 2025–2026 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

This sweet Extraordinary Flora Bundle is full of love, happiness, and florals for stamping and cutting out floral and botanical images in two quick steps! Color the line-art style florals with your favorite coloring technique. The most exciting part of this lovely bundle is the coordinating Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape on page 85 of the 2025-26 Annual Catalog. The beautiful washi tape is big, bright, and beautiful! It’s 3-1/4" wide and features a gorgeous pattern of watercolor floral and botanical images, alternating from various pinks and purples of the same pattern for more versatility! Add to this wonderful product the amazing Party Dies Bundle on page 86 & 87, and you have a winning combination to take your party, crafting or scrapbook layout to the next level!

Each banner letter in DATE NIGHT is cut with the Party Alphabet Dies and Party Banner Dies and decorated with the delicate Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape designs, creating a joyful, layered effect that feels both whimsical and elegant.

I loved how easily the washi tape florals added charm and dimension without bulk—perfect for storytelling with beauty and intention.

This layout uses two sheets of the White Willow 12x12 cardstock, layered with a strip of the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape 3/4” from the outside edges of both pages. I then added an 8-1/2x8-1/2 layer of Coastal Cabana cardstock and more White Willow, stamped with Coastal Cabana ink.

On the first page, I journaled about my husband’s cancer journey, how we walked through months of waiting, and how God’s grace carried us through. Now, with his healing well underway, we’ve been enjoying simple joys like our Friday evening hikes to local waterfalls. I paired this testimony with Psalm 126:3 (NIV):

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”

This page photos and journaling was layered with Petunia Pop cardstock to match my photo sizes.

When using the washi tape to die cut, you can first layer it on cardstock and die cut it out for a bright look, or you can layer it on Window Sheets for a softer vellum look to your florals. Tip: I used window sheets from my Photopolymer stamp sets.

To string together the banners, I used the lovely Faux Velvet Ribbon in Fresh Freesia. The banners and letters were cut from White Willow cardstock and the Floral Impressions 12x12 DSP. I also selectively embossed the letters and banners using the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. The second page layout used Pool Party Cardstock to layer my photos and journaling. The combination is stunning.
