So Lucky to Call You Friend

I decided to make a Vellum card using our Vellum Cardstock and used the stunning Framed Florets Bundle and Fitting Florets DSP. Using a 5-1/2”x8-1/2” piece of Vellum CS, scored at 4-1/4”, I glued a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” layer of Polished Pink CS on the inside left (front) of the Vellum card, then glued a 4”x5-1/2” layer of Evening Evergreen CS on the outside front Vellum card.

Then glue a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” layer of Basic White CS on the inside right of the card for writing and stability. When you go to glue the Basic White CS to the back inside, be sure to spread out the glue over the entire surface as completely as possible for a clean finish on the back of the card.

For the card front, use a 3-3/8”x5-1/8” piece of Basic White CS with the Polished Pink Ink brushed on with Blending Brushes, splattered with water, embossed with the Painted Texture 3D EF, then glued to the Evening Evergreen font layer.

Take a 4”x5” piece of the pink patterned Fitting Florets DSP and die cut the larges from from the center of the piece (save the center piece for another card - see below). Take a 3-3/4”x4” piece of Basic White CS and die cut the smaller striped frame, then nest together and add Stampin’ Dimensionals onto the back of the two pieces and place on card front.

I fussy cut out all the floral and foliage images from the DSP (just because I was using all the flowers that can be die cut and do not waste anything if I can help it), then popped them onto the front using more dimensionals.

I stamped my sentiment using Evening Evergreen Ink on Basic White CS and fussy cut that too (I know… crazy lady). After gluing down the Polished Pink Blend died Crinkled Seam Binding triple bow with glue dots, I popped up my sentiments with dimensionals. I added 5 of the Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls. So lovely xoxo

Wishes for a beautiful birthday

I made this gorgeous card using the Framed Florets Bundle for a swap with my upline team. I love the Fitting Florets DSP, and used both a die cut image and a few fussy cut images as well! I am also so happy that Stampin’ Up! is making sure the DSP always has something that matches the dies!

The center of this card comes from cutting out the largest of the frames from Framed Florets Dies (see card above). It has a beautiful embossed edge detail that makes the label and sentiments so striking! For this card, I also used the Evening Evergreen ink for the sentiment.

I admit it, I love layers and for this card, I started with an A2 card in Blushing Bride CS (5-1/2”x4-1/4”). I used a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” piece of Evening Evergreen CS, embossed with the Quatrefoil Tile EF and glued to the card base front. For the card front, I used a 3-3/4”x5” Basic White CS, embossed with the Timber 3D EF, wrapped in the Gold and Vanilla 3/8 Satin Edged Ribbon bow and popped up with dimensionals.

I popped up the sentiment in the upper middle of the card, leaving plenty of room for the flowers and foliage.

The flowers on the lower right of the card front are from the DSP and happily match the dies, so I die cut them out rather than fussy cut. The flower on the top left and the foliage around the bottom right were fussy cut. All were added using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The final touch, I used more of the Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls.
