hello

I CASE’d this adorable card with a few changes from one of the Stampin’ Up! Artisan’s (sorry no name was on the photo to give credit). This card was in response to my team’s card challenge in March for a wreath! I loved how adorable the little boots turned out and just can’t get enough of the watering can and tools! I’d hang this on my door if it was big enough!! I love providing samples to my customers that do not include the coordinating DSP, as when it is gone, I want to show them how cute the stamps and dies are!

I started with an 11”x4-1/4” piece of Crumb Cake CS, then scored it at 5-1/2” and then at 6-3/4” so you end up with a “book binding” card fold. I love square cards, but this is the next best thing.

Cut a 4-1/8”x4-1/8” piece of Basic White CS, then using a 3” diameter cup base or round die, draw three circles that overlap using your Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. Using your Basic Black blend, flick speckles on the cardstock as desired. Pop it up on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Glue the binding portion of your card together and use the Pecan Pie 3/8” Center Stripe Ribbon to wrap around the binding and tie a bow. Hint: to keep the binding closed, use tear and tape to wrap around the back and about 1/2” onto the front, then place the ribbon. It keeps both in place.

Using the Garden Meadow stamp set, decide what you want on your “wreath”, then stamp them in Memento Jet Black ink and color with Stampin’ Blends. The blend colors I used was Tahitian Tide, Lemon Lolly, Garden Green, Smoky Slate, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie. Hint: To achieve the highlighted area, I left an area white until I was done coloring and colored that spot last. If necessary, your color lifter Blend works great as well.

After die cutting out each one (no fussy cutting - yay), I placed them where I wanted them and popped them up using Stampin dimensionals. I then placed the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds as desired. Too cute!!
