Make A Memory Scrapbooking Kit

The Best

Last week on my Scrapbooking & Scripture Facebook Live, I had the joy of sharing two fun two-page 12x12 scrapbook layouts created with the Make A Memory Scrapbooking Kit from Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusive Kit Collection.

This kit is an absolute gem for memory-keeping—it’s filled with bold die cuts, journaling pieces that make storytelling easy and beautiful – from playful stickers, sentiments, tags and banners to layered die-cuts and fun patterned papers. Whether you are documenting a travel adventure, a special celebration, or the beauty of everyday moments, this kit makes preserving your memories fun and simple with the all-inclusive kit contents. Just bring your photos and your paper cutter - and you have everything you need to preserve those special moments in your life! At only $36.00 USD and making 6 two-page layouts, its a phenomenal deal! (Kit comes in English, French and German.)

These Moments Together

This layout was pure joy to create—it captures our family adventure around Hamilton Cove, Avalon on Catalina Island. I used the the two sheets that were the most alike, following the kit instructions for the right side and adding elements that coordinated from the kit for the left. I switched the title to the left so that it coordinated with the remaining title on the right.

I layered the fun tag die cuts from the kit behind our photos, added the adorable camera image, and finished the design with a mix of florals and playful labels. I love how the layout visually ties our memories together and reflects the fun we had exploring God’s creation on this beautiful island.

My only add outside the kit was the Linen Thread for the top of the tags! Easy and fun. This layout took maybe 15 minutes, top!

Remember, Collect Memories

This two-page spread features the awe-inspiring artwork from inside the historic Casino Avalon on Catalina Island. The sweeping ceiling murals and intricate chandelier details are showcased with soft neutrals and earthy embellishments from the kit. I used the “REMEMBER” title to anchor the pages and included handwritten journaling to preserve not just the images, but the significance of the experience. I love how the neutral pallet allows the photos to pop!

This kit has so many pieces that make journaling easy. The right side pretty much matches the kit’s color instructions. The banner on the right is twice as large, so I just cut it down the middle to put it on both sides of the coordinating cardstock.

Love Today

Bright colors and bold patterns brought this layout to life! I used a diagonal chevron stripe background paired with sweet floral accents from the kit. The page celebrates simple joy—a sunny day with my son and a visit to the Chihuly blown glass install at the new Catalina Museum of Art & History. A few layered sentiments like “LOVE today” and “THE BEST SMILE” helped me capture both the emotion and the story.

For this layout, I put this together in just a few minutes off-camera. I used the kit instructions for both pages, allowing for my photo size difference. While these pages are not the same, I love how they flow together.

As I created these pages, I reflected on Psalm 77:11 – “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.”

Each memory we preserve is a reminder of His goodness—whether it’s the beauty of architecture, the joy of togetherness, or a bright moment in an ordinary day.

Don’t be afraid that some of the sheets do not match exactly and you can always use the white side of the cardstock to change it up.
