Meandering Meadows Suite Collection

I am so in love with the Meandering Meadows Suite Collection. If you have been following me for a while, you know that gardening is a BIG love and while the flowers are not detailed, the hint is so lovely! Cards made with this amazing suite, just fall together!! The DSP is doing the heavy lifting!! I am going to use the amazing suite for my (FREE with purchase) April 2024 Stamp Class kit, so watch for more information soon.

The Meandering Meadows Suite Collection include the Garden Meadow Bundle with 16 adorable stamps and 15 sweet dies. The Meandering Meadows 6”x6” DSP is... to… die… for! I love the Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds and the sweet Pecan Pie 3/8” Center Stripe Ribbon is another great item.

I can’t imagine…

This sweet card was from my Marvelous Monday FB Live and a fun fold z-card. I also featured masking to create the adorable sentiment. This card really showcases the entire 6”x6” DSP, as you use nearly the whole piece. I started with an A2 Basic White Thick card base. I scored it at 2-1/2” & 4-1/4”. Fold and braise as shown below. The coordinating colors I am using for this piece of gorgeous DSP is Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, and Bubble Bath.

For the 3 panels I cut the DSP along the bottom so the remaining DSP was 5-1/4” high (set aside cut piece for bottom of envelope), then cutting from the left, cut two (2) each panels at 1-7/8”x5-1/4”, leaving a 2-1/4” panel for the right side of the card. The next layer is Blueberry Bushel CS, cut two (2) each 2”x5-3/8” and one at 2-3/8”x5-3/8”.

Glue Blueberry Bushel and then DSP to your card base and set aside.

For this part of the instructions, you may want to watch the YouTube video I uploaded from my FB Live.

You will need some Masking Paper or post-it notes. As I noted in my video, if you use Masking Paper, you will need to get rid of some of the tackiness, as it can damage your cardstock. Take a 3”x3” scrap of Basic White CS and mask the both 2/3 of the paper. Using Memento Black ink, stamp the upper portion of the adorable wheelbarrow of flowers so that none of the wheelbarrow shows and you get nothing but flowers. Turn your paper around and do the same again. Stamp your sentiment in the middle. Color the flowers using the Blend colors noted above.

Die cut your sentiment using the next to largest square from the Stylish Shape Dies. Cut Bubble Bath CS square measuring 2-1/2”x2-1/2” and glue sentiment to cardstock.

If you want a centered area to write or add a sentiment on the inside, cut a 2-1/2” square and glue it centered on the inside of the card. Then fold your card shut and glue sentiment layers to outside edge, remembering to glue only the left side and centered over inside CS piece. Add the Adhesive-Backed Birds as desired. Glue remaining DSP to bottom front of your envelope and trim off excess. Watch the video for more information.
