The Memorable Meadows March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit included the makings for 9 stunning cards, with wooden embellishments, adhesive backed sequins, vellum, lovely envelopes and gold foiled sentiment labels! Look at that artwork… to die for!! And the best part? The coordination with the Meandering Meadows Suite Collection and the Add-On dies, Love of Spring!!

It was so easy to make the stunning artwork from the kit into a beautiful 2-page scrapbook layout. It is so lovely, I struggled to keep from covering it up! I loved adding the Cheerful Daisies dies to the page to match the gorgeous daisy artwork in the cardstock, and then to add the sweet little Garden Meadow Bundle elements as well. While non of it has anything to do with the ACM awards in Vegas (lol), the colors of our photos lend themselves to blend beautifully with the art in the cards. see video link below for instructions…
I started with two 12”x12” pieces of Night of Navy CS and used one each of the cards and elements as part of the layout. I was so happy to see how two of the cards looked like they could be part of the same scene - so framed the layout beautifully.
The coordinating Love of Spring dies featured in a couple of places in my spread. I can see me using the “love” script into lots of my scrapbooking this year! I used Basic White CS for the “love”, and layered them with Fresh Freesia, Lovely Lavender, and Gorgeous Grape CS for the 2nd layer.
I used the Cheerful Daisies die set for the sweet dies and used my blends to create the same look as the daisies in the artwork. I used the Lemon Lolly Dark, Daffodil Delight Dark, and the Pecan Pie blends for the daisy center. The leaves were colored in Granny Apple Green Light & Dark.
I really love how the layout turned out, and the wooden and vellum elements really added to the stunning art of the cards. The Garden Meadow Bundle added sweet little flowers as well, colored in Orchid Oasis, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Fresh Freesia Blends.
A little country whimsy with the fence, grass and shrubs was added to the bottom of the pages. By cutting out the little fence in Crumb Cake CS using the Garden Meadows dies, I then linked them together with a 1/8”x11” strip of CS.
I used the inside of one of the envelopes and the Mini Alphabet Dies to cut out the “This Man”.
The grass was Old Olive CS and the shrubs is Mossy Meadow CS. The daisy sprig is Old Olive CS and the Love of Spring die is Granny Apple Green CS. I used Basic White CS to frame my photos, with adding a layer of Lovely Lavender CS to one.
The Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies and Birds in brass were a lovely touch as well.
