New Catalog - Mix & Match

I am so excited with the 2024-25 Annual Catalog and how it is laid out! The new section Mix & Match is so easy and fun for beginner stampers that may want more variety than a kit gives them!

For last weeks Fri-Yay Kit-Together (4/19/24), I played with the Calming Creek Cards & Envelopes, Something for Everything Ephemera Pack and the Say Something Ephemera Pack for these two great masculine cards.

What I love about these options is that I tend to not be drawn to masculine stamp sets, so this gives me the option of creating what I need, as I need them. So many great ideas to copy as well! The cards are double sided so those that want can take them apart and use as they want. I love how the envelopes subtly mimic the card for a great package!

The Mix & Match has multiple cards & envelopes (Sunny Springs Cards & Envelopes and Calming Creek Cards & Envelopes)! To go with those, there are 4 ephemera packs: Saying Something Ephemera Pack (lots of sentiments cut outs, including fussy cut pop outs), Something for Everything Ephemera Pack (with a little of this & that), Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack (flowers, flowers & more flowers… and leaves), and the Labels & Layers Ephemera Pack. The section shows a stamp set for all basic occasions as well.

The best part about this section is 3 pages full of card ideas for all of the packs!! Ideas make the process so easy for beginners, then as you feel more creative, you can branch out!! Yay for idea pages!! Keep in mind, you will need your own embellishments and adhesive of choice.

What got me excited was seeing how I could incorporate the ephemera packs into scrapbooking as well and was not disappointed!!

oh HEY

This easy page was nearly all the ephemera packs. I started with a 12”x12” Basic Black CS base, then added the craft white splatters across the cardstock. I then added the retired gingham ribbon and the new Peach Pie Edged Ribbon (one of the new In-Colors) as a band across the middle. I then took my photo, cutting it down to the size I wanted and added Pumpkin Pie CS 1/4” larger than my photo, and the Peach Pie CS 1/4” larger and adhered it to the page.

I then went through all the ephemera packs and found a little this and that to coordinate with my picture and a few sentiments as well.

I then popped them up as I spread them across the page, with a little overlap here & there. I added an old tag I had about and threaded some Peach Pie ribbon as an accent. I am so glad the Paper Butterfly Accents are not retiring, so added a couple, with one layered over a scrap of Pumpkin Pie CS and fussy cut. The ephemera packs were full of cute little butterflies to add to the spread as well.

I literally took something out of all the ephemera packs to make this spread and am absolutely stoked there are so many easy ways to use them!

I added a little black bakers twine and then the new 2024-2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems as my final embellishments. A perfect frame for my favorite butterfly!

You can watch my video to see all the ephemera packs and envelopes and how I chose what to put on the scrapbook spread.
