Pumpkin LOVE…

What’s not to love about beautiful fall pumpkins!! There is nothing more pleasant than tramping through the pumpkin patch and picking out that perfect set of pumpkins! My favorites are the new varieties that come in pale shades of green or peach.

This pretty pumpkin card is for my church’s staff appreciation month in October. I will be doing a variety of cards, but wanted to play with this gorgeous Pretty Pumpkin Bundle from the 2021 Fall Mini Catalog before summer is gone as well. I CASE’d this card from a fellow demonstrator (with a few changes), and could not be happier with how it turned out. Using my trusty Water Painters, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and Stampin’ Up! inks I was able to create 10 of these in no time at all.

The inks I used was Gray Granite, Soft Succulents and Petal Pink. I love how subtle the colors are, and enjoy making the pumpkins 3D with just a touch of ink. After die cutting them, popped them up with Dimensionals over a piece of In Good Taste DSP, brushed with a light touch of the Petal Pink ink with the Blender Brush. The verse was stamped with Soft Succulent ink, then die cut using the Stitched Rectangle dies

(approx. 4”x2-5/8”). I layered this over a piece of Petal Pink CS (4-1/8”x2-3/4”) and then over a layer of Soft Succulent CS (4-1/4”x2-7/8”). This was popped up using Dimensionals over a 5-3/8”x4-1/8” Basic White CS, embossed with the Tasteful Textile EF. The base card is Basic White Thick CS. I used the Elegant Faceted Jewels in petal pink. So simple and pretty. Looks like a warm hug!
