Sale-a-bration FREE Feels Like Home

If you love Stampin’ Up!’s beautifully detailed imagery that gets the creative juices flowing, then the FREE (with a $50 order) Sale-a-bration Feels Like Home Stamp Set is just perfect! When I am looking at this gorgeous stamp set, I am reminded of my trip to London with my sister a few years back. We were able to stay in a beautiful Chelsea townhome and I just loved the individual color and care that was given to each front door as we walked the streets in the Chelsea District. I wanted to replicate that in the below card.

YOUR friendship card

When water coloring, I try to use the same few colors on all the items in the picture to give a sense of cohesiveness. I used Stampin’ Up!’s Fluid 100 watercolor paper, the Water Painters, and their Stampin’ Pad inks. For the image and verse, I used Stazon Black ink. For the warm tones, I painted in Cinnamon Cider ink and Bumblebee ink on the wood

deck, pots, trunk, bike & baskets. For the green, I painted in Granny Apple Green ink. The front door and flowers were painted with the Melon Mambo ink. The walls and background was Gray Granite ink. I then splattered using an inked up water painter with the same colors. The Fluid 100 Watercolor paper comes in 5”x7” sheets, so I typically just cut it in half (3-1/2”x5”) for my images. I then layered it over the Basic Black CS (3-5/8”x5-1/8”), popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals over a Gray Granite CS card base. The verse was die cut using Tasteful Label dies, layered on Basic Black CS and fussy cut, then popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. This card was so pretty, it needs no embellishments. I was almost reluctant to add the sentiment. more pics below…

Missing YOU card

This #SimpleStamping card is sweet and easy to make. I used the lovely Feels Like Home pot of tulips and the “Missing YOU” stamp in Stazon Black Ink on Shimmery White CS (4”x5-1/4”). I used my Water Painter, Pale Papaya ink, Soft Succulent ink, and the Almost Amethyst ink for the image. I painted a faint wash of each color over the approximate area behind the element, then darkened my ink up on the image. I then popped up the layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals on a Almost Amethyst CS card base. Adorable, simple & fun! more pics below…

I CAN’T thank …card

For a really #SimpleStamping card, I mad a mono-chromatic (all one color) card using Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White CS (3”x4-1/4”), layered on Misty Moonlight CS (3-1/4”x4-1/2”), popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals over a Basic White Thick CS card base. I used the 2020-22 In-Color Square Gems in Misty Moonlight as well. The verse was stamped on scraps of Basic White CS and Misty Moonlight CS.
